Tarragona, 16th November 2012 – The Costa Daurada region today affirmed its growing status as one of golf’s most intriguing propositions following the announcement that its premier resort, LUMINE Mediterránea Beach & Golf Community Golf Club, will host the 2013 International Golf Travel Market (IGTM). The 16th edition of the prestigious event is set to take place from November 11-14 and will see the region showcase its seven golf courses, leisure and cultural offering to golf tourism suppliers, buyers and media from around the globe.

A links-style championship layout, it features several water hazards and tests all aspects of the game. Located within 170 acres, LUMINE Golf Club also includes the more traditional Hills Course, a second 18-hole championship course that runs through pine and olive trees with spectacular views of the nearby coastline. The aptly named 9-hole Ruins Course, another Norman design, weaves its way through Roman archaeological remains from the second century and completes a diverse 45-hole offering of immaculately presented golf that caters for golfers of all ages and abilities.
