Professionals with a combined 74 wins from around the world are set to take part in the 2018 Beko Classic Pro-Am at Carya Golf Club in Turkey this week.
The field includes professionals with over 30 combined European and Challenge Tour, 5 EuroPro, and various other wins from the Alps Tour, Nordic League and Nordea Tours, national PGA titles as well as Confederation of Professional Golf Sanctioned Event wins.
Victorious 2014 Ryder Cup Team Europe Captain, Paul McGinley, will join 2005 US Open Major Champion, Michael Campbell, in the event that sees Professionals play with different amateur teams over three days of tournament golf.
Confederation of Professional Golf Sanctioned Event winners, Garry Houston (PGA of GB&I), Peter Gustafsson (PGA of Spain), and Georg Schultes (PGA of Austria) will each look for another Sanctioned Event title to add to their career records, whilst Turkey’s own Koray Varli and Ali Altuntas represent the Beko Classic home country.
2017 Beko Classic Champion, David Lynn, returns to defend his title after his six-under par total in 2017 saw him claim the $10,000 winner’s cheque.
