The Beko Classic, a mainstay on the Confederation of Professional Golf’s [CPG] sanctioned-event tournament schedule, returns to Antalya, Turkey, next week.
From 22-24 October, the event will host an invite-only field made up of experienced CPG tournament and Pro-Am veterans, Ladies European Tour Stars and European Tour Professionals, who will each descend on Carya Golf Club and National Golf Club to battle it out for the title.
Carya Golf Club, in Antalya’s Belek Region, is the first classic, heathland style golf course to be built on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Set on undulating sand hills, Carya is a championship golf course at the heart of Turkey’s golf coast.
Opening in 1994, National Golf Club has become a popular tourist destination and won international recognition. Carved through eucalyptus and pine forest with the backdrop of the Taurus mountains, the National tests all abilities of players.
Andrew McNabola, Beko Classic Tournament Manager, commented: “Thanks to Beko’s commitment to golf, I am thrilled to have the Beko Classic back this autumn and once again see professionals compete for the Mustafa V. Koç trophy. The five-star Regnum Carya Golf & Spa Resort is a great venue and I am looking forward to welcoming all the competitors back to Belek, Antalya.”
The 54-Hole individual Professional strokeplay event, accompanied by the team Pro-Am format event, commences with Round 01 on Friday 22nd October, with the winner being declared on Sunday 24th October.
