Juan Postigo Arce, currently ranked number four in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD), has officially been announced as a PING Ambassador on a multi-year contract.

The 25-year-old, from Northern Spain, was born without much of his right leg and no knee but has been an avid golfer since the age of 12 and has since gone on to become one of the most recognised faces within the European Disabled Golf Association.

Postigo has already seen success since the start of his professional career, with a win at the 2021 Madrid Disabled Open and the 2021 European Championship for Golfers with Disability – for the third consecutive time. Earlier this year, Postigo also claimed his maiden victory on the G4D Tour at the Hero Cup in Abu Dhabi, securing a two-stroke victory.

“For me, it is a privilege to be working with a brand like PING; with their family essence and relationship, along with their technology and engineering, as their two fundamental pillars,” commented Postigo.

“As you know, I was born with a malformation on my right leg. The way my parents educated me was very brave and they encouraged sports to be a very important value in my life. I started sailing, then skiing and, at the age of 12 and thanks to my grandfather, I discovered golf. From the very start it caught my attention as the only sport that would allow me to compete against others – with or without disability.”

During the 2023 season, Postigo will play a full EDGA schedule alongside the G4D (Golf for the Disabled) Tour – all of which are closely linked to the DP World Tour tournaments, played on the same course during the same tournament week.

Among the 14 PING clubs in Postigo’s bag are a G430 driver and fairway woods, i230 irons, and Glide 4.0 wedges. He is also a PING Apparel Ambassador.
