The long-standing Kempinski “The Dome” Pro-Am will return from 2nd – 9th of February 2014 to the renowned Antalya Golf Club, in what will be the seventh staging of the tournament as a Confederation of Professional Golf sanctioned event.
Professional players will compete for a €40,000 prize fund across three tournament rounds at Antalya Golf Club’s PGA Sultan and Pasha courses, host venue to 2012’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, in the 36-hole pro-am and 54-hole individual event.
Professionals and amateurs divide on the final day as they bid for a share of the professional prize fund or one of the excellent amateur prizes on offer daily and sponsored by Lyle and Scott, Ecco, One Golf and Cleveland.
The 2013 Kempinski “The Dome” Pro-Am was won by Wales’ Simon Edwards as he shot to victory after a closing two-under-par 69. Previous tournament winner, Chris Baron, followed up in second place, whilst Sweden’s Jonathan Fransson took third place.
Packages on offer for professionals and amateurs follow a similar format to previous years – Professionals accommodation (sharing a room) in the magnificent Kempinski ‘The Dome’ Hotel is free while the amateur accommodation price is: €1,380pp (shared twin room), €1,540 (single), or €750 for non-playing partner in double room.
Entries are on a first-come-first-served basis, and all amateurs will be required to produce official proof of handicap before being allowed to compete.
