Details have been released for the 2014 edition of the Confederation of Professional Golf Coaches Circle and Heads of Training Summit, which will make its return to Italy’s Chervò Golf Hotel Spa & Resort San Vigilio.
The fourth installment of the events will once again bring the National team and elite player coaches alongside the Heads of Training for PGAs from across the Confederation of Professional Golf’s 36 member countries, for the two events that will span each half of a week:
Confederation of Professional Golf – Coaches Circle and Heads of Training Summit – Chervo, ItalyCOACHES CIRCLE (CC), 24-26 March 2014 – Here national coaches, coaches of elite players (on a level 1,2 or 3 tour), and coaches involved in national junior programmes, are invited to attend theory and practical sessions.
HEADS OF TRAINING SUMMIT (HoTS), 27-28 March 2014 – This year there will be several practical workshop sessions on the European Education Level System (EELS), with particular focus on how to prepare for its implementation, along with sessions focused on the latest information relating to the training of PGA Golf Professionals. The event is tailored to Heads of Training or nominated individuals working within programmes, which prepare PGA Professionals or deliver such programmes.
“The Coaches Circle and Heads of Training Summit have become not-to-be-missed events, and now with this being the fourth outing, their reputation as vital events for coaches and education providers has been cemented,” explained Confederation of Professional Golf Director of Education & Membership, Tony Bennett.
“Bringing together the Heads of Training allows us to better support our Member countries, sharing good practices, offer solutions and facilitate meaningful discussions that have a long term effect on the future of the PGA golf Professionals”.
