Braemar Golf, the St Andrews based golf management, construction and advisory company, who are responsible for the soft opening and post opening management services at PGA National Russia, have just completed the procurement phase of the project and have drawn down on key PGA relationships.
“The procurement process for any upscale golf facility is a challenging task, however, more so in Russia. As an official supplier to the PGA, we have tried our utmost to build on the excellent relationships the PGA has with a broad range of suppliers and where possible we have procured from them” said Braemar Golf’s Operations Director Michael Braidwood, who is responsible for the PGA National Russia project.
In place are deals with PGA Partners Club Car, Glenmuir, PING and Titleist, along with Official Suppliers Sigma Golf (PGA Collection) and Powakaddy.
“We are delighted that Braemar Golf have taken this approach and we hope over time that the PGA can introduce more of our Partners and Official Suppliers to PGA National Russia” commented Roger Butler, Property and Development Executive of the PGA.
PGA National Russia is the only facility in Russia to carry the prestigious PGA National brand; the 7,400 yard course has had a soft opening and is due to open in September 2012 and looks set to become the number one facility in Russia.
