PING Europe Commits to Advanced and Extended Partnership with the CPG2 min read

Posted on: 22nd Mar 2021

PING Europe and the Confederation of Professional Golf [CPG] have announced a three-year renewal of their relationship as long-standing partners in golf.

It is fitting that PING Europe, who have enjoyed a partnership with CPG since 2009, have increased their involvement to become one of the organisation’s first named ‘Business Partners’ within its commercial partnership programme – revealed earlier this month alongside the launch of The CPG Business Club.

“For many years we have been a proud partner of first the PGAs of Europe and now the Confederation of Professional Golf and strongly believe that our longstanding relationship will continue to benefit both PING and our partner professionals” commented Lisa Lovatt, PING Europe Managing Director.

“We greatly value our relationship with PGA Professionals across Europe and beyond and feel that the health of the PING brand is very strong across all countries. This was evident in the response we received to the recent launch of the new G425 range and in the PING Apparel side of our business, which continues to go from strength-to-strength.”

By elevating its existing relationship with the CPG, PING Europe increases its commitment and strengthens its position to further support PGAs and PGA Professionals across the CPG’s 40 Member Countries and embraces the wider opportunities incorporated in the new CPG Partnership programme.

Chief Executive of the CPG, Ian Randell, commented: “We are extremely proud of the strong and successful relationship that we enjoy with PING. We look forward to working closely with Lisa and the team at PING Europe in examining more and more ways that we can support each other for the benefit of both businesses, as we activate our plans around the CPG Thrive strategy that we released last year.

“Through its continued support for the development of PGAs and PGA Professionals through its partnership with the CPG, alongside the staging of The Solheim Cup and various other industry collaborations, PING’s support for the golf industry continues to have a positive and profound impact on the sport across many different levels.”
