Mruzek in Driving Seat for Mercedes-Benz International Pro-Am1 min read

Posted on: 29th Jan 2014

PGA of Czech Republic Professional, Filip Mruzek, continued his form by carding a tournament low round of 66 (-5), to stay to shots ahead of the chasing pack on eight-under par (134) heading into the final round of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz International Pro-Am.

Mruzek matched yesterday’s bogey total of one, but bettered his birdie total by two creating a back nine card of 32 (three-under), ensuring he started the day two shots ahead at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club, UAE.

PGA of great Britain & Ireland Professional, Darren Bragg, lies only two shots behind having added to his first round 69 with a second round four-under par 67, to stay in second place on six-under par (136) for the tournament.

The just one shot back is PGA of Austria Professional, Georg Schultes, who also carded a four-under 67

A chasing pack of five players – Payne (Australia), Egndahl (Sweden), Plumb (GB&I), Edwards (GB&I), and Hrouda (Czech Republic) – are only three shots from Schultes’ pace on two-under par (140) for the tournament.
