The Carr Golf Links Pro-Am will return from the 19th – 22nd October taking PGA Professionals and their amateur teams to some of the greatest links golf courses in the world.
Up to 20 international teams will have the opportunity to compete over four rounds at courses in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, including this year’s Irish Open venue, Royal Country Down, former Irish Open and Walker Cup venue, Portmarnock Golf Club, as well as future Open Championship venue, Royal Portrush.
The event follows on from the successful second Carr Golf Links Pro-Am in 2014, the first time the event was sanctioned by the Confederation of Professional Golf, which was won by PGA of Great Britain & Ireland Professional, Gareth Wright.
“Carr Golf are delighted to partner with the Confederation of Professional Golf once again on this world class Links Pro Am,” said CEO of Carr Golf Travel, Marty Carr. “This agreement fits with our strategy of PGA partnerships, where we already have five regional PGA partnerships in North America.”
Carr Golf Links Pro-Am packages are free for Professionals and start at £2,095 per amateur and include:
- 4 rounds of Championship golf
- $10,000 prize fund for PGA Professionals (based on 20 participating teams)
