CPG and Antognolla Golf Announce International Pro-Am and Multi-Year Partnership2 min read

The Confederation of Professional Golf [CPG] today announce a three-year partnership with Antognolla Golf to promote its fantastic facilities and cooperate on the promotion and delivery of The Antognolla International Pro-Am by +Energia, which will be operated in conjunction with the PGA of Italy, in 2023.

As an official Travel and Events Partner, the next three years will allow Antognolla Golf to share offerings and opportunities to the CPG Membership that will support Antognolla in developing their network, establishing valuable relationships with CPG Member Countries and their PGA Professionals, and delivering ‘The Antognolla International Pro-Am by +Energia’ each year.

The Pro-Am will round off an already busy season for Antognolla Golf, which has had its best year to date with more domestic and international golfers looking to experience the golf course than ever before. At the same time, golfers will also discover the hidden side of Umbria, raising the profile of the region dubbed the ‘Green Heart of Italy’.

CPG Chief Executive, Ian Randell, stated: “Antognolla is a spectacular golf course surrounded by natural beauty in the heart of Italy. The opportunity to partner with them to promote their superb facilities to our membership and collaborate on an International Pro-Am is an exciting prospect for us.

“It is clear that the team at Antognolla Golf works extremely hard to provide an exceptional customer experience, so we know the Pro-Am will be a resounding success. We look forward to nurturing this relationship and continuing to build the opportunities available to our Member Countries and their Professionals.”

Commenting on the new partnership on behalf of the owners, Antognolla Golf Director, César Burguière, stated; “This new partnership with the CPG demonstrates our commitment to promoting the club across the entirety of Europe and beyond. It is especially important to work with the CPG’s National PGAs and their PGA Professionals as they are crucial to selling our product to their respective memberships. The International Pro-Am by +Energia will showcase our resort and marks the first step in a long-standing partnership with the CPG”.

The Antognolla International Pro-Am by +Energia will also be supported by the PGA of Italy, who will work alongside CPG to ensure a top-quality event. The PGA of Italy’s President, Filippo Barbé, commented “The PGA of Italy are delighted to be working alongside CPG at Antognolla Golf, – it is a great opportunity to showcase what the Italian golf scene can offer and provide opportunities to our membership.”

This newly announced partnership between the CPG and Antognolla Golf will enable valuable opportunities for Member Countries to further tournament/playing opportunities, along with professional and personal travel experiences for their individual Members as well.
