Returning to Quinta do Lago for the third consecutive year, The Invitational Pro-Am 2017 will give teams of one Professional and one amateur the chance to play some of the best courses Portugal has to offer.
From the 1st to 4th November, teams will have the opportunity to play 54 holes of betterball strokeplay over Quinta do Lago’s North, South and Laranjal Courses for The Invitational Team Championship.
Professionals will then also compete at the same time for the Individual Invitational Championship title and the €50,000 prize fund*.
The event also plays its part in the support of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Anderson Foundation charities, raising money through the off-course events and activities that take place throughout the tournament week.
Entry includes a practice round on the 1st November and tournament rounds on the Laranjal, South and North Courses, with both amateurs and Professionals using buggies in all rounds, along with access to the various evening functions including the Gala Dinner Charity Auction night.
Last year’s tournament was won by Sweden’s Peter Gustafsson whose outstanding second-round, eight-under par 64 gave him enough of a lead to take home the €8,200 winner’s cheque and the 2016 title.
