The Confederation of Professional Golf (CPG) will sanction the brand-new Golf Masters Pro-Amwhich will be staged this year from 16-18 November 2021 at Al Hamra Golf Club and Al Zorah Golf club in the United Arab Emirates [UAE].

Entry is open for the inaugural event, which will see teams of one PGA Professional and three amateurs descend upon two of the finest golf courses in the Middle East region for 54-holes of competition, with a €30,000* prize fund available for the professionals.

Having hosted the Challenge Tour Grand Final from 2016 to 2018, the Championship Course at Al Hamra Golf Club will provide the perfect stage for the event alongside the widely acclaimed Al Zorah Golf Club, culminating in a world-class golfing experience for competitors throughout the week.

Kevin Hesbois, Golf Masters Events Partner and PGA of Belgium Professional, said: “As Golf Masters begins its journey of hosting world-class events and travel experiences, we are very proud to be working with the CPG on the inaugural Golf Masters Pro-Am this year. We look forward to welcoming PGA Professionals and teams to the event and providing them with an extra special experience on and off the golf course.”

CPG Chief Executive, Ian Randell, commented: “The inaugural Golf Masters Pro-Am is a great addition to our 2021 schedule, at a time when international playing opportunities for PGA Professionals and their teams of amateur golfers has been limited due to the ongoing pandemic.

“Kevin has competed, and been successful, in other CPG events and it is great to see him use the experiences he has gained as a player to provide a further opportunity for others. We look forward to working with him and the team at Golf Masters when staging this fantastic event.”
