CPG & Balance Golf Team Up to Personalise Player Development2 min read

Posted on: 10th Jul 2025

Coaches across the CPG network will soon gain access to a powerful new set of tools and ideas, as the Confederation of Professional Golf teams up with Sweden’s Balance Golf — a company known for rethinking how players move, feel, and perform.

At the heart of this new partnership is a shared belief in personalised coaching and the value of adapting training to fit the individual, not the other way around, along with helping coaches to maximise the opportunities they have for their clients and to enhance their businesses.

Individuals will be able to access various modules within the Balance Golf ecosystem, but in particular the ‘Screening’ module that provides a personalised analysis method, based on 50 key measurement points of the body’s mobility and structure. This detailed assessment provides each player with fully customised fundamentals, along with one of 324 unique action plans that help optimise kinetic energy in the swing, reduce injury risk, and maximize performance.

The collaboration will provide PGA Members across the CPG network with preferred access to the Balance Golf system, including its innovative BG Coach Hub platform and supporting tools. In addition, the partnership will see both organisations work together to create education content and learning opportunities that showcase Balance Golf’s methodology and philosophy.

Founded by Erik Blomqvist, Balance Golf’s approach is built on the principle of individual adaptation – supporting players to understand and optimise their movement, posture, and habits in a way that suits their personal characteristics. By focusing on balance, both in the body and the broader performance environment, the system supports a more holistic and sustainable form of coaching.

“This agreement with the CPG is a major milestone for Balance Golf,” said CEO, Ulf Eliasson. “We’re excited to collaborate with such a globally respected organisation and look forward to sharing our knowledge and tools with PGA Members around the world.”

“The CPG Learning Institute is designed to provide opportunities for PGAs and PGA Members to gain knowledge, skills and attributes in a form that is additive to their national PGA education and enable international communities for those with common interests,” added CPG CEO, Ian Randell.

“As we grow our platform, we continue to seek innovative strategic partnerships that will enhance our offering and provide both certifications along with on demand content. Our partnership with Balance Golf epitomises this and we are perfectly aligned with their focus on personalisation, performance and sustainable coaching recognising that every golfer has differing needs.”

The partnership will provide significant support to the CPG Learning Institute, helping to bring new ideas, systems, and coaching approaches to professionals across the CPG’s network of Member Country PGAs and their individual Members.. Through content, seminars, and technology integration, the partnership aims to broaden access to high-quality, personalised coaching tools that help players and coaches perform at their best.
