Skills

I am a class A CPGA teaching professional and certified PING club fitter. I currently have been running my own teaching and club fitting business for the past 3 years in Squamish, BC. I played on scholarship for 4 years at the University of Victoria, and was captain the last two years of my varsity career. I have a passion for helping others, and I am looking for an opportunity to do that in another part of the world besides Canada. I'm hoping to make new friends, learn about different cultures, and develop further as a teacher.

Qualifications

- Class A CPGA teaching professional
- Certified PING club fitter (2018- present)
- Business owner of Cari Chow Golf
- BA in Fine Arts and Minor in Education
- Varsity Athlete (2012-2016)

Experience

I have been in the golf industry for many years. I started playing golf at the age of 4, started competing seriously at the age of 12, and have worked at public golf courses and semi-private golf courses. I worked my way from apprentice professional to first assistant in just over a year.

While being the assistant professional at Ardmore GC, I also learned valuable skills in events management, general manager roles, and basics in accounting. I have been apart of private golf courses most of my life. This includes being a member at Royal Colwood for 10 years, so I am used the the difference in environments between private and public courses.

Teaching wise, I knew I always wanted to teach. I have taken courses/ workshops from some of the best including Mark Crossfield, David Leadbetter, Sean Toulon, Hank Haney, and Roger Cleveland. Currently, I run my own business teaching & club fitting out of Squamish Valley GC and handle two staff that I have helped develop into becoming CPGA professionals themselves. Club fitting wise, I have had some incredible experiences from learning from the best fitters.

My time at PING headquarters was particularly amazing because I got to learn from the very fitters that fit the PGA & LPGA players. I also work side by side the top PING fitter in Canada, Adrian Deakin, who has developed my skills since 2018.
