PGAs Collaborate on Cross-Country Series1 min read

Posted on: 5th Aug 2021

With a membership of 42 Member Countries across multiple continents, the Confederation of Professional Golf [CPG] recognises the importance of togetherness and collaboration.

The PGAs of Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia – three of those 42 Member Countries – have provided a perfect example of this principle with a recent announcement that they will unite through a new, joint-event project.

The ‘PGA Open Series’ will combine three tournaments, one played in each of the three countries, to create a fantastic new mini-series for PGA Professionals to compete and travel cross-country in a bid to be crowned the overall champion.

With each of the three PGAs contributing further money to the overall prize fund, there is an added bonus for each player to compete in all three events and will provide a significant twist to each of the Member Countries’ respective, burgeoning tournament calendars.

Details of each of the tournaments are listed below, alongside details on how to enter each.

The Open Series

10-12 July 21 Czech PGA Stroke Play Championship – Austerliz Golf Resort, CZ
