Job Description

The Expat Coach will be responsible for overseeing and coaching the Junior Excellence program at BPGC, Mumbai on behalf of K&A Golf.

This role will involve managing the program's curriculum, providing personalized coaching to members, and collaborating with the Bombay Presidency Golf Club (BPGC) team to ensure the program's success.

Key Responsibilities



Program Management:
  • Oversee the Junior Excellence program, ensuring its alignment with BPGC's goals and standards.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching curriculum tailored to the needs of junior golfers.

  • Monitor and evaluate program progress, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.


Coaching:
  • Provide personalized coaching to junior members of the BPGC, focusing on technical skills, mental game, and overall development.

  • Identify and address individual needs and challenges, offering appropriate guidance and support.


Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the BPGC team, including the CEO, Anitya Chand (AC), Indrajit Bhalotia (IB) and other Teaching Faculty, to ensure effective program implementation and coordination.

  • Collaborate with the fitness trainer to integrate physical fitness into the program.

  • Participate in parent education programs to foster a supportive environment for junior golfers.


Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on program progress, including individual student milestones and overall outcomes.

  • Contribute to quarterly reports to BPGC, providing insights and recommendations.



Compensation and Benefits


  • Fixed salary and a percentage of lesson revenue.

  • Regular visits from AC and IB for program review.

Employment Terms


  • Employment contract with K&A Golf Pvt Ltd.

  • 1-year lock-in period from Expat Coach.

  • 3-month notice period on either side.

  • K&A Golf Pvt Ltd reserves the right to terminate employment at any time.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a golf coach, with a strong background in working with junior golfers.

  • Passion for golf and a commitment to developing young talent.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Knowledge of golf course management and facilities.
