The PGA of Czech Republic invites you to a workshop with the CPG’s Knowledge & Development Advisory Panel Chair, and Chair of the Ryder Cup European Development Trust, Jonathan Mannie, on the topic of how to build and defend a clear training and competition plan for ages 14 – 19 (annual structure + the logic behind tournament selection).

The workshop also covers

• How to prioritise skills over time and define “must have” standards at 14, 16 and 18 (technique, short game / putting, course management, mental resilience, physical readiness)
• How to integrate everything into one process (technique, short game, course management, mental work, fitness and recovery) including examples of a normal training week vs a tournament week (simple microcycles coaches can copy)

Professor Kwon is a recognized authority in his field and has worked with prominent athletes, including top golfers, for many years. Since 2002, he has been teaching as an associate professor and full professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Kinesiology at Texas Woman’s University.

Among those who have been influenced by his work are Hideki Matsuyama , the 2021 Masters winner, and Mi Hyang Lee , an LPGA and Symetra Tour player.
