How does SNAG create interest and fun for playing golf?

Using the bigger clubface and balls it is easier, especially for kids to start playing golf. The bigger targets help a lot, with the ball sticking to them children are very excited to try to hit the target. Generally the simplified equipment makes the students success rate much higher to start, so they have more interest.

SNAG at Swiss Golf Forum

Migros Golfparks & SNAG

MIGROS Golfparks has 8 academies that have been offering taster golf sessions and basic training for over 20 years. More than 35,000 players have attended these beginner sessions. With their programme “Let’s Play Golf” over 25,000 children were invited to MIGROS Golfparks and introduced to the sport without any costs. MIGROS will be entering into elementary schools with the SNAG concept looking to inspire more children into the game of golf.

Golf 3.0 – Growing Golf Together

“Golf 3.0 – Growing Golf Together” was the motto for the second Swiss Golf Forum. The event was hosted by the ASG, ASGI and ASG GolfCard Migros and presented by Rainer Maria Salzgeber. This years forum was very diverse and international, it also included a presentation from FC Basel president Bernhard Heusler who looked beyond the golf course and discussed the business of golf.

The forum also discussed the approach to different target groups, especially young people, “Best Agers” and women.

The Swiss Golf Forum provided a great opportunity to network with various members of the golfing community.

SNAG Inflatables

Dan Killen (SNAG) not only held a lecture on SNAG, but he also demonstrated the SNAG concept (in front of the 1-4 Bay Inflatable) to all interested parties and participants of the “Swiss Golf Forum“.

The SNAG event modules (Inflatables) can be exclusively rented through Migros for events and occasions of all kind in Switzerland now.

A real eye-catcher and a highly effective crowd puller guarantees fun for everybody.

SNAG – Big EYE CATCHER at the Italian Golf Show

The Inflatable was a great attraction in Parma. Prof. Franco Chimenti (President of the Italian Golf Federation and President of CONI SERVICES S.P.A.) visited our booth with Lena Caponetti (SNAG representative Italy).

A lot of kids and adults participated in the SNAG programme and had a lot of fun at the show.

Super SNAG unveiled at Confederation of Professional Golf 2014 Teaching & Coaching Conference

As partners of the Confederation of Professional Golf, SNAG attended the 2014 Teaching & Coaching Conference on both Sunday 21st & Monday 22nd September at Stirling University.

This was the first time Super SNAG has been demonstrated in Europe and was received with great enthusiasm. SNAG Master Trainer Tony Howarth presented Super SNAG to those attending the conference.

Tony said, “Everyone is so enthused by the introduction of Super SNAG. All those that experienced it at the conference spoke highly of the equipment and its perfect progression from SNAG equipment to traditional equipment.”

The Confederation of Professional Golf 2014 TCC conference played host to many PGA professionals from across the world. The two day event helped to give an insight into a variety of approaches from both grassroots and elite level to benefit PGA professionals from the perspective of coaching and development. A strong focus around grassroots level of play and the importance of secure player/coach relationships was covered during the two days.

SNAG is passionate about getting individuals from grassroots level and upwards involved in the sport of golf by using specially adapted equipment that enhances the basics of traditional golf in a way that allows an individual to easily develop and enhance putting, chipping, launching and full swing skills.

Tony said, “It was great to see so many likeminded professionals from around the world coming together to hear the speakers brought together by the Confederation of Professional Golf.” He concluded by saying, “It is not only the speakers that help you learn and develop but also the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with all the coaches attending.”
